The cassette blinds are installed directly onto the window frame. We use curved c-type strips for the cassette blinds. The manual for measuring the cassette blinds depends on the type of window profile. The width of the blinds is a the outer dimension of the window strips.

If it is possible to install the side strips with the tape on the window strips (the strip is not rounded or at a strong angle), measure the width starting from the window strip and frame (the width of the glass + 2 times the width of the strip). Example: If the width of the glass is 1000mm and the width of the window strip is 15mm, then the width is: 1000mm + 15mm + 15mm = 1030mm.

If window strip is not suitable for installing blinds strip, measure the width starting from of the window strip and frame (the width of the glass + 2 times the width of the strip) and add another 16mm (8mm for intsall blinds strip on both sides). Example: If the width of the glass is 1000mm and the width of the window strip is 15mm, then the width is: 1000mm + 15mm + 15mm + 8mm + 8mm = 1046mm. Also, make sure that the window handle would not interfere the installation of blinds strip.
If you are afraid to get lost in the measurement, send us a picture of the window (info@en.rulo.ee) and we give you instructions how to measure such a window.
